Georges Antoine Rochegrosse (1859 - 1938) was active/lived in France.  Georges Rochegrosse is known for Painting.

Georges Antoine Rochegrosse was a French painter known for his paintings often depicting violent scenes shown at their peak, the best known is certainly impressive Andromache the Rouen museum.  The drama of the scene is enhanced by the presence of the body lying face against the ground and the group of desperate women in the foreground.  The twisting motion of the body of the woman removed contrasts with the coldness of the look of Attila.  A recent exhibition of his work was held at Moulins Museum Anne de Beaujeu, June 29, 2013 to January 5, 2014 entitled "The splendor of decadence."
